Day 4: Create a list of short term and long term goals.
I sat in the bathroom thinking about my life and my accomplishments. I reflected on my growth and evaluated my outcomes. I sorted through my thoughts like I was looking in the filing cabinet in a cluttered office.
How can I be better? How can I do better?
I wanted to see my growth. I wanted to see my accomplishments… If you find yourself asking those questions, this post is for you!
Having a visual representation of what you want to achieve to either be better or do better is beneficial. Having a visual representation of the goals you want to achieve helps tremendously in reminding you of what you desire to do. It also pushes you to go for it!
Nothing feels better then to see items on your list checked off!
Short term goals are goals you want to accomplish quickly or in a small amount of time. They are goals that you set out to accomplish in a day, week, month, or year.
Long term goals are goals you want to accomplish in the future. These goals take time and there is a process to accomplishing these goals. Usually these goals take longer than a year.
Creating a list can help you declutter what is in your mind and help you organize your thoughts and responsibilities. They can help you prioritize! There is no right or wrong way doing the list. Life can change, meaning, your goals may change. You may even want to add or subtract things off of your list and that is ok! One thing to remember is, it’s your list!
This list is what you would like to do. Noone else. Remember that.
What are some of your short term and long term goals?
