Who is your joy wrapped up in?

Is it in your spouse, your friends, your career, your family?

Who/what is in the center of your joy?

Christmas is approaching and we all know its a very joyous time of the year. A time to spend with family and fellowship one with another, it seems like around this time of the year a lot of people find joy in gift shopping, gift wrapping, and gift sharing.

When all that seems great have we forgotten the real reason of Christmas?

Jesus, the greatest gift was given to us! Now that is a joyous occasion! He came into this earth as a baby, bringing hope, peace, and restoration.

This is a friendly reminder just in case you’ve forgotten. Let Jesus be the center of your joy:

Romans 15:13 – Now the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing, that ye may abound in hope, through the power of the Holy Ghost.

God is the source in which joy flows.

Philippians 4:4 – Rejoice in the Lord alway: [and] again I say, Rejoice.

Find joy in the Lord for who He is.
John 16:22 – And ye now therefore have sorrow: but I will see you again, and your heart shall rejoice, and your joy no man taketh from you.

Find joy in knowing youll see Him again.

Psalms 118:24 – This [is] the day [which] the LORD hath made; we will rejoice and be glad in it.

Find joy in what God has given us.
