Truth be told, stepping out onto faith is scary. That is something I tend to struggle with at times. I don’t like the unknown, I love confirmation and clarity.
As many of you know I am an entrepreneur. I am an author. I am a visionary. There is so much God has planted within me, now to bring it out and step out onto faith and operate within my gifts is not the easiest.
God had to (and continues to) deal with me in regards to faith walking.
I ask myself these questions, when does faith walking become less of a baby trying to walk, into track star running to the finish line? I’ve been saved and filled with the Holy Ghost for years and I feel as though I am still taking baby steps. Is this normal? Am I normal?
(As I am writing this blog post it is as if God is speaking to me about me….)
The problem as to why our faith walking is not progressing to the next level is due to the fact that we only gain clarity and confirmation when we look through our spiritual lens. Its hard to walk when you can’t see. When youre unsure of where you should step, especially on uneven ground it can be difficult to walk. Once our spiritual eye kicks in we can see where God is taking us and inspite of life being rocky sometimes we can be sure that we are stepping onto solid ground and that being Gods Word.
2 Corinthians 5:7 (KJV)
7 (For we walk by faith, not by sight:)

If we have that trust in Jesus Christ and see Him as our firm foundation, faith shouldn’t be a stumble. After all faith is what makes Him happy.
Hebrews 11:6 (KJV)
6 But without faith it is impossible to please him: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him.
God is still working on me. Even though my blogs are for you guys to read in hopes that God speaks to you, He speaks to me as well. With clarity. Its amazing.
Dont become discouraged with faith walking. You may start out with baby steps and fall from time to time but as long as you keep your eyes on Jesus Christ and allow Him to lead you, those baby steps will gradually change into mature steps.
Just as you may be, I am still learning each day to apply my faith more then I apply my doubts.
Pray for me as I pray for you.
